He hit his first stage in 1957, cut his first record at age 15, went wayward and ended up behind bars. With guitar as a pal, he started writing tunes. Word got out, and soon Australia’s first ever behind bars album was cut in the early 70s. Please welcome reformed man, musician, songwriter and Bidjigal man, the legendary VIC SIMMS. With a tribute record out next year, the legend of “The Loner” and Brisbane’s twang champs, Halfway backing him, the legendary VIC SIMMS & HALFWAY take to the Boogie stage.
