[singlepic=366,320,240,,right]Brisbane City Council proudly presents Label Party #5, co-presented by Plus One Records is the final installment of 5 Label Parties presented by the Council so far this year, previous parties have including labels Mere Noise, Beast Records (France) , RIP Society Records (Sydney) and Bedroom Suck.

It’s a Saturday night some why not be entertained by some of Brisbane’s finest live Rock bands all from the tiny house of Plus One Records all free and all ages at the Brunswick Street Mall Rotunda.

The Smokestack Orchestra, The Blackwater Fever, Intercooler (only Brisbane show for 2010) and Black Mustang are all taking time off from the studios where they are busy bunkered down getting new tracks ready for your ears so they are primed for some loud live love and they are bringing the volume switch along so everybody in the mall can join in on the fun.

The ‘Label Parties’ series is the brainchild of Ciel Fuller. Fuller has a long history of designing and coordinating projects that help to showcase Brisbane music industry. She hopes that this will only be the first of a continuing series of LP’s.

The LP’s series highlights that while it is important to showcase Brisbane labels, it is equally important to show the labels from interstate and overseas that have Brisbane acts signed to them.

This series is funded by the Brisbane City Council. Brisbane City Council proudly supports exciting free music events that help to grow Brisbane’s music industry.

The party starts at 7.30 and we hope to see you there
