[singlepic=80,320,240,,right]In July Plus One Records brought you their first ever showcase cavalcade of excellence, celebrating the spirit of volume, riffs and rhythm. But that’s just one face of Brisbane’s best label. We’ve also got a spectacular list of songwriters in our armory, and to celebrate this, we’re going to get them all together for you to see what they can do!

Q Song winners and all round talented collective The Gin Club will head up the festivities, in their first show in quite a while. Courier Mail People’s Choice Awards finalists Mexico City, who got to display their loud selves at our last showcase will get to show a sensitive side. As will garage duo The Blackwater Fever, whose dark blues tones will get a fresh airing in an analogue setting.

Fresh from their tour of France will be Grant McLennan Fellowship finalist Kate Jacobson with Texas Tea, breaking hearts back home this time. And opening the show will be our latest addition, Roz Pappalardo & the Wayward Gentlemen. If that isn’t a line up to get excited about, we’ll eat our own feet.

Given this intimacy, tickets are strictly limited, so best get in early! Check out Oztix for details. They’ll cost you a mere 15 earth dollars on presale, or 18 on the door.

Oh, and if you have a registration for the Big Sound Music Conference, let us know and we’ll sort you out with a freebie!
