mex-city-2-hi-res.jpg GIANTS ARE BACK

The sky has cracked open and the heavens have rained down fire and lightning. The crow has flown west with the eagle, and the leviathan has risen. This can only mean one thing: the new Giants of Science album Live at the Troubadour has been released. None are safe.

Recorded in, of all places, at Brisbane's Troubadour in one sweaty evening of blistering rock and roll, this record is a fine slice of Giants history, covering all the classics like 'Marcia Brady', 'Here is the Punishment' and 'Windowseat', plus nine more doses of guitar goodness, including a brand new track!

To get your own copy, head on over to the Plus One website and score yourself a sweet bonus poster. If you're lucky enough to have Sounds of Spring tickets, don't miss the Giants tearing up the Club Trash Stage.

Our second Showcase went smooth as silk, and was heavily attended by Big Sound Conference delegates, all of whom seemed immensely impressed with what Plus One had to offer. Regular folks already knew how good we are, and for a school night, the Troub was packed to the gills!

A reminder for the West Coast!

The Blackwater Fever and Black Mustang are heading your way early October to rock ears and melt faces on the Once Upon A Time In The West tour.

They'll be joining WA locals The Devil Rides Out for a trio of shows in Mandurah, Fremantle and Perth. Get your tickets now, these shows are going to be corkers!

Plus One are also very pleased to announce that we've hooked up a distribution deal with Europeans Sonic Rendezvous, so all you continentals can get a hold of our bountiful catalogue from those lovely people.

Here's the roundup for this month, have a look.

We're very excited to announce the Gin Club's national tour, which will be taking them from Queensland's Sunshine Coast to Hobart. They'll have a new single out in time for this jaunt, so keep your ears peeled for it, and watch out for the new album in early 2010.
