Aloha friends! It's another month into the year and yet more goodness is winging your way from Plus One headquarters. We've got new albums from workhorses The Gin Club and new friends Halfway not far off, a bumper crop of tours and shows, and a few special occasions.

THE GIN CLUB

Deathwish will be here May 29. There's still a little time to enter the pre-order competition, which is full of all kinds of GC Goodness.

Pre-orders are a mere $25.00 including postage, at the Plus One store.

If you're in Brisbane then there's a special treat in store for launch time. Three shows at the Troubadour will feature different support bands, with limited tickets available for each one, in order to make them nice and intimate. Tickets can be found at Oztix, so get in quick.

HALFWAY

Halfway have set a date for their album launch, and have a couple of shows booked to help.

The disc will be available in June, with the shows in July. The album will also be released in a limited edition run of 300 copies in meaty 180 gram 12” vinyl.

TEXAS TEA

THE SMOKESTACK ORCHESTRA

Tracking has finished on the new Smokestack Album, with a launch planned for August. Their launch show will be with Sydney buddies Gay Paris, but before then they're heading off with Western Australians The Devil Rides Out.

GIANTS OF SCIENCE

Giants have been recording, and word is they've already laid down the bones of fourteen tracks! They've promised us a tour as well, but for now you'll have to settle for the Label Parties show in July.

INTERCOOLER

As well as returning home for the Label Parties show, Intercooler will be heading into the studio with American producer Kramer, who has worked with Ween, Butthole Surfers and a whole lot more.
